China is the fastest-growing market for overseas investment.
And as more Chinese citizens and residents move to the U.S., they are turning to outbound and inbound services to help them get around.
According to research firm Technomic, outbound trips to the United States from China rose nearly 15 percent between 2013 and 2018.
For those trips originating in China, however, the number of inbound trips increased by only 2.4 percent.
China’s overseas investment boom has attracted the attention of both U.N. officials and U.K. ministers as it seeks to diversify its economy.
It’s been estimated that $1.3 trillion has been invested in the country since 1990, according to the International Monetary Fund.
