Digital outbound service (DOS) refers to the services that provide digital content to consumers through an online platform such as Amazon.com, Apple’s iTunes Store, YouTube, Google Play, etc. A company such as Netflix can deliver an online movie or video to consumers.
These services can be delivered through a variety of ways.
Some are delivered through third-party services like Apple’s iBooks store or Amazon’s Kindle Store.
Others can be downloaded directly from the service provider.
And others are offered as a bundled service on a subscription basis.
But digital outbacks services are most commonly delivered through digital media and video apps.
They include Apple TV, Apple TV App Store, and Apple TV Remote app.
